Milling is a precision engineering process which involves the removal of material from a component using rotary cutting tools. The milling machine cutter rotates at an extremely high speed, allowing metal to be removed at a fast pace.

Turning is a precision engineering process which involves the use of a lathe to reduce the diameter of a piece of metal. It removes material by rotating the metal whilst a cutting tool is used against it.
During the process of CNC Turning - the workpiece and tool are controlled by a computer numerical program which ensures the material is cut quickly and accurately - significantly reducing human error.

By utilising multi-turret and dual spindle setups it is possible to get highly-complex components off the machine in just one operation – a huge advantage over conventional methods which would take multiple turning and milling operations.
Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is a precision engineering process which cuts metal into your desired shape using electrical sparks - sometimes referred to as spark machining, or wire erosion services.
As sparks occur between two electrodes, the intensity of the electric field removes material, ultimately allowing the shape to be created and detached from the metal.
Wire erosion is a no contact, no force process - highly suited for smaller, more delicate components which could be damaged by conventional cutting tools.
Complex shapes and exceptionally fine holes can be formed, giving a high-quality surface finish to follow.
Wire EDM is also an automated process, meaning the risk of damage to your precision component is minimised.
