PCML Group was delighted to welcome the MTDCNC team, the go-to resource for machine tools and CNC machining, to our March, Cambridgeshire site to discuss our experience with the Matsuura MAM72-35V, a key investment that has driven capacity gains for our customers since its installation three years ago.
The Matsuura MAM72-35V - possessing 32 pallets as standard and up to 520 tools - is the proven solution for long periods of reliable unmanned 5 axis simultaneous production of components weighing up to 60kg in the Ø350 x H300 range.
During the visit, Luke Manders, CNC Programmer at PCML, highlighted the MAM72-35V’s intuitive design and user-friendly operating system, noting how its ease of use enables our team to deliver across complex, high-mix manufacturing.
Paul Blanchflower, Technical Director, reflected on how the machine has supported both capacity growth and manufacturing excellence for our clients.
"Because the machine can run lights out, our operators can work on and prepare for the next jobs, meaning greater operator utilisation, reduced lead times and more on time deliveries for our customers".
The MAM72-35V has played a significant role in enabling our teams to meet increasing customer demand while maintaining the high standards of quality and reliability our clients expect.
We appreciate the MTDCNC team for visiting and capturing the story behind this success.
